Thanks for the reply ,I'm going to do the same and see what happens . I hope it works so at least I can use the j box I purchased with this thing. I'll post if I ever just get one vehicle to actually work on this tool. Thanks again and good luck

    Hello.
If the software of original diagnostic tester installed on the laptop can support J2534, you can install the driver for J2534 and then use J2534 to program.

GM is the only one I have had success with. I
Have the software from the Chrysler website for the J2534 but it fails to program. It gets to the point of flashing then it either times out or gives a 'J2534 tool open' eror message.

I own the j box from autel. I called tech support yesterday to confirm it works on bmw. I was assured it does. I paid the subscription fee. only to find out 9 hr later it dont. I was trying to flash a dsc module i downloaded all necessary software from bmw with no luck i had 3 tech support people work with me over 230 mins of logged talk time to poland and germany , only to find out its a hardware issue. I tried different laptops 1 which works with the drew tech on bmw , no luck with my box.im not happy. i will buy a drewtech, i will disown the jbox.

be careful with Chrysler and flashing . This is not just a issue for autel it can happen with drewtech boxes also. You can brick a pcm when this happens. I believe drew tech might have a fix for the problem on there boxes but not sure yet.
